Medicentre’s travel vaccinations can help safeguard your health while you're away.

Travel abroad always entails some risk to your health, but by ensuring you have the correct vaccinations and you take certain precautions you can minimise your exposure to most of the major health hazards.

Most vaccinations will take 2 - 6 weeks to provide full protection, but if you're leaving soon, you should remember that even last-minute vaccination will still provide some benefit – certainly better than taking the risk without any inoculation.

Some countries also require a certificate to show you are covered for yellow fever and meningitis, and we are able to provide these.

If you travel extensively in or make multiple visits to third-world countries you should ensure you are fully protected.

MEDICAL INSURANCE
You should take out medical insurance before travelling and nationals of the UK, Switzerland or EEA nations should also obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) if travelling to EEA countries. We have provided an advisory overview of the vaccinations needed for general geographical areas which you can access using the map or navigation bar. We will of course advise you of the specific requirements and recommendations for your particular trip.

SAVE TIME by downloading your travel vaccination form and completing it before you attend your Medicentre.
