MEDICENTRE WATERLOO TO CLOSE ON FRIDAY JUNE 10th
DUE TO STATION REFURBISHMENT

Waterloo Station is to undergo a major refurbishment programme due to be completed in time for the 2012 Olympics. The old Eurostar platforms, not used since 2007, are going to be brought back into service and the 'orchestra pit' will have a deck fitted to bring it to the level of the rest of the concourse. Platform 20 has already been converted, and new passenger connections between 19 & 20 have been completed.

The building overlooking the concourse is also going to be refurbished and this mean that those companies currently using the premises – which includes Medicentre – will be vacating to make way for the works.

The programme will not affect our Occupational Health Centre in Lower Marsh, where services will continue uninterrupted. The closest general Medicentre is at Bank – one stop on the Waterloo & City line.
