BERNIE NOLAN AND DJ SONIQUE URGE WOMEN
NOT TO IGNORE LUMPS
Irish singer and actress Bernie Nolan has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Bernie Nolan, the actress and Nolan sister, has announced she has breast cancer.
Bernie, who was born in Dublin, spent many years singing and touring with her sisters before moving into television where she starred in series such as 'Brookside' and 'The Bill'. Most recently she took part in ITV's reality TV show 'Pop Star to Opera Star'.

The actress, who has starred in The Bill and Brookside, was diagnosed after deciding

to a clinic was also delayed by her 'hectic' schedule -
She told GMTV: "I am definitely going to have a mastectomy. I have just told the doctor to get it out of me."
